Senita Valley Elementary Celebrates its First Label - Excelling

VAIL, AZ – Senita Valley Elementary School, the newest elementary school in the Vail School District, opened its doors to students in July 2008. It recently received its first label from the state, the highest possible label achievable – EXCELLING. They will be holding a grand celebration for the students to which members of the press are welcome.

Where:  Senita Valley Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room – 10750 E. Bilby Road, Tucson

When:  Wednesday, August 5, 2009 @ 2:00 p.m. (Should last about 30-40 minutes)

Teachers and staff dressed as distinguished world famous guests including a special surprise will perform for the students at the celebration.

Senita Valley Elementary School Principal, Connie Erickson said, “Why wait for the end of the school year for a celebration? We are so proud of the kids for their great efforts last year, and we wish to celebrate the excellence to come. Staff and students are all very excited for the event, and students anxiously await their special surprise visitor.”
