Rosemont Copper is sponsoring the KLPX event at the County Fairgrounds. The same County that has passed Resolutions against mining in the Santa Ritas. www.klpx.com We have all ready gotten feedback that people are going to boycott this event due to Rosemont's Involvement. Perhaps they have something positive to educate the public with. I wouldnt blame them for wanting to advertise. There is a lot of false information and propaganda going around about the mine. Heres a perfect example. In this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE5LXer_pIA this land was legally cleared for UofA testing to see what effect the clearing of land would have on vegitation over time (which is a good thing.. isn't it?). Yet this video and tons of other false information continues to surface. I'm not nessesaraly in favor of the mine.. but with flase information like this not being recanted, the less I want to follow the anti-mine group. azhighway83 new member 1 posts replied on 3/29/2010 7:16:52 PM Thanks for the input, however, the land is owned by Pima County, regardless of the operator. This can be confirmed by the various parcel maps. As far a propaganda, please, Rosemont Copper has the market on that. Furthermore, azhighway83.com is a community site that yes, does have Rosemont info as well as Davidson Canyon - Cal Port & Seel info, Community events, etc. Thanks for adding to the discussion.
